Audience

Individuals aspiring to be appointed as an Authorised Person (MGPS) within a healthcare setting; requiring a detailed understanding of the responsibility for the management of the medical gas pipeline systems (MGPS) within healthcare facilities. Also beneficial for individuals of whom work for private contractors that provide services to healthcare facilities or project teams who will be responsible for the design of MGPS or those looking to further develop knowledge on the subject.

Objective

Equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to manage, operate, and maintain medical gas pipeline systems in accordance with HTM 02-01 Part B; Section 7. The course prepares individuals to fulfill the responsibilities of an Authorised Person ensuring the safety, compliance, and efficiency of MGPS.

Course Overview

Accredited 4.5 day training course, including tuition, course workbook, digital course notes, delivered with a combination of theoretical & practical work & scenario based projects both individually and as group work. Assessment via workbook and technical awareness exam.
