Audience
Individuals looking to develop their understanding of design principles for medical gas pipeline systems. Gaining an detailed understanding of principles of design, flow calculations, supply system sizing and pressure loss and pipe sizing calculations. It is a prerequisite that delegates have a fundamental knowledge of medical gas pipeline systems, this course is aimed at providing knowledge on the design principles only and not fundamentals of medical gases.
Objective
Equip participants with the ability to calculate system flow rates based on clinical demand, supply systems sizing to ensure sufficient sizing and understand the calculations for pressure loss and the impact of pipe sizing. Develop a deeper understanding of gas provision and the principles of supply.
Course Overview
A certified 2.5 day training course, including tuition, course workbook and digital course notes. Delivered with a combination of theoretical calculations & scenario based projects. Assessment via workbook and technical awareness exam.
